Happy August 25th – 4 months to Christmas!
Today I am featuring all holiday projects – a home décor item, cards and a paper purse for packaging your gift of handmade cards. This month features the Under the Mistletoe Designer Paper from the Annual Catalog (any paper will work, there are some great looking ones in the new holiday catalog), August 2018 Blended Seasons Bundle Special, Labels to Love Stamp set and Sneak Peek of the new Merry Christmas Thinlits, available September 5th in holiday catalog.
Here is a close up of my paper wreath with 1″ strips adhered to a Dollar Store Styrofoam wreath.
The first two cards show how you can feature designer paper along with the Blended Seasons Bundle along with Labels of Love stamp set to create cards with matching tags. Use the largest layering framelit for the inside of the card, stamped with images and greeting from the Blended Seasons Stamp set.
Simple card made with 1″ strips of designer paper, bells from the Blended Seasons Bundle and matching envelope. To create the matching envelope adhere a piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and cut away an excess with your paper snips.
The Rooted in Nature Bundle along with the Stamparatus and Real Red ink make for the perfect flower to finish off this card featuring designer series paper.
Whisper White Note Card with matching envelope make the perfect card to use up some of your scraps.
Final project is a Designer Series Paper Purse, perfect for holding all the cards from today, plus a couple more. Why not make the presentation of handmade cards something special!
