Ever make this mistake?

Today I have a quick post for you. Wanted to share my oh no cards!

Did this ever happen to you, designer series paper adhered upside down! Even professional card markers make happy accidents.

Berry Botanical Vellum ideas

Here are a couple more fun fold card ideas using the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper as the card base.

Specifics on the first card:

  • Vellum Card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″ on both ends of the 8 1/2″ side for a basic gate fold card
  • Additional card – 3 3/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.
  • Back of the card is adhered to the inside of the vellum card base
  • Outside flap goes over the front gate fold
  • Belly band to hold the card closed
  • Decorate as desired

Next, the inside of the card.

Second card is a top opening fun fold card. Card has been decorated using the same flowers and leaves. The Fresh Freesia Vellum sheet was used for this card. The base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 2 1/4″ on one end and 3 1/4″ on the other end.

Finally, the inside of the card. There is a pocket that can be used for a gift card or cash!

Sunday Stampers May 2026

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Hope you weekend is going well.

Here’s the first card using the Scenic Coast collection. The downloadable project sheet has the measurements for the card.

If you have the retired Stampin’ Up! Deckled Circles, one works perfectly with the die cuts from the Scenic Coast Dies.

Version of the card with a Basic Black card base.

Second card features one of the sheets of the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper and the Hundred Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder. Here is the horizontal version.

Here is the vertical version of the card.

Finally, the third card featuring the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper, the May product of the month. Phrases & Frames Bundle for the decoration on the front.

Artisan Sketched Garden DSP

Love the hand-drawn look? The Artisan Sketched Garden 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper brings a black-and-white illustrated style to your projects. With florals, stripes, dots, and more, these patterns create a timeless base for handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and mixed-media layers. It’s the perfect starting point for playing with color, texture, and your favorite coordinating craft elements.

Here’s what the paper looks like.

First card uses the Spotlight Technique:

  • Die cut shape out of the middle of the designer series paper
  • Color using Stampin’ Blend Markers
  • Adhere to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Banner Sayings Bundle used for greeting

For the second card images were colored using Stampin’ Blend Markers using the new 2026-2028 In-Colors. Once colored, using scissors cut them out and add to card front. Card front is a piece of Peaceful Pink Two-Tone card stock embossed with the Floral Spray 3B Embossing Folder added to a Thick Basic White card base.

Product of the Month – May

Enhance your paper crafting and card making with the Berry Botanical Vellum 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is the exclusive Product of the Month for May 2026! Only available until stocks run out—don’t wait to get yours! The product of the month is $5 with any $75 product order, one per person per month.
This paper includes 12 sheets, 3 each of 4 single-sided designs. Colors: Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, Golden Glow, Hydrangea Hue, Misty Moonlight, Peaceful Pine, Soft Sea Foam, and Strawberry Slush.
The vellum is thick and easily adhered with Tear & Tape or Seal Adhesive and you can’t see the adhesive!
Card base has scores at 2½” on one side and 1″ on the other. 4″ x 5½” Vellum adhered to the inside of the 1″ scored section. Three different patterns of the paper used on the card.

Checkerboard Card

Today thought I would share a couple of Checkboard Cards, seems these are all the rage on the internet of card makers!

Creating these cards is a great way to use up some of those ½” wide scrap strips we all have!

Here is how to create the card:

  • Started with a 4¼” x 5½” piece of Basic White card stock or even copier paper works for this step
  • Cut about 10-12 strips ½” wide by about 6″ long. Make a combination of colors and images
  • Use liquid glue to adhere the strips to the Basic White paper
  • You can also cover the Basic White card stock with adhesive sheet, then add the strips
  • Cut to your desired size (4″ x 5¼” or even 3¾” x 5″)
  • Then cut that piece into ½” strips, keeping them in order
  • Cut piece of card stock to match your desired size and add the strips, moving them up and down to create a pattern.
  • Trim off excess and create your card!

 

For the second card, the Scenic Coast product collection was used. The Strawberry Slush square was used a the focal point of the and paper moved up and down based on that square.

Scenic Coast Collection

Shimmering vellum, layered stamps, and coastal-inspired accents work together to brighten milestone cards and scrapbook pages.

Have you seen the new Scenic Coast Collection of Products?

The Scenic Coast Specialty 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper features vivid colors and layered textures.  This two-sided paper has coastal sunsets on one side and visually engaging, versatile patterns on the other. Some sheets feature iridescent details that shift color as you move them.

The cards I’m sharing today highlight the “iridescent” details and the dies included in the Sunset Coast Bundle. This is one of the collections my Sunday Stampers will be using this month for a fun fold card.

For the first card one of the Spotlight on Nature circle dies was used to frame the sailboat die.

Next is another card made the using the lighthouse circle die cut directly from the Balmy Blue card stock front mat. Cloud is also die cut from the designer paper.

Silly Old Bear Collection

Have you seen all the new products that went live yesterday?  Did you place an order like I did?

Today I thought I would share two cards featuring the Silly Old Bear Collection. This is a beloved collection of storybook friends, honey pots, and woodland charm for heartfelt cards and keepsakes filled with warmth and whimsy. This product is available in the United States only.

Both are cards use the same layout. The first card features stamped images colored with Stampin’ Blend Marks and the second with images from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper.

In the designer paper there are two sheets with images you can die cut with coordinating dies from the Sweet Old Friends Bundle.

Card features:

  • Hydrangea Hue card base
  • Peaceful Pine card stock embossed with Hundred Acre Woods 3D Embossing Folder
  • Watercolor background using Hydrangea Hue and Peaceful Pine ink
  • Images either die cut from designer series paper or stamped, colored and die cut
