Art Gallery Stamp Set

Happy Saturday! How is the weather where you are? It’s beautiful here – sunny and low 60’s!

Today I have a fun card for you featuring the Art Gallery Stamp set and the Basic Border Dies.

I’ve started with a standard card base (5½” x 8½”, scored at 4¼”) of Thick Basic White card stock. Using one of the Basic Border dies I’ve cut off part of the front of the card base to create a decorate edge.

Next, I’ve added a 2″ x 5½” piece of designer paper on the inside so that it shows where the edge was cut off.

On the front of the card, I’ve stamped a flower using Pale Papaya, Calypso and Mossy Meadow.

Sentiment was stamped, die cut and added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, a linen bow was adhered with a glue dot.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Ringed with Nature Bundle

Happy Thursday, today I’m featuring three cards made with the Ringed with Nature Bundle.

When stamping with Photopolymer stamps it helps to use a Stampin’ Pierce Mat under your card stock. The mat helps gives you get even pressure and ink coverage with detailed or background stamps.

STAMPIN' PIERCE MAT

My first card features a Balmy Blue circle with Crumb Cake and Pacific Point images for some depth, then a die cut tree ring with a stamped and hand cut out house adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the middle card, I used Crumb Cake Embossed Card stock and added to the front of the card, then added some ink with a Blending Brush. Middle mushroom where stamped and hand cut out, then added with Mini Dimensionals.

Finally, a Christmas card featuring the Poinsettia from the stamp set. Once I stamped it in Real Red it was hand cut out. Pearls are colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend Marker. Leaves are from the Boughs Punch in Garden Green card stock. Before adhering items to card front a Balmy Blue circle was added with a Blending Brush.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Cracker Card

So last Sunday I die cut a bunch of “crackers” for my Sunday Stampers to put together and fill with candy, today I thought I would share what I did with all the diamond die cuts from the cracker die.

Create fun treat packaging with the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. The set of dies includes the box, five labels, two tags, and small hearts and stars you can use as embellishments or confetti. Use the box to contain treats or small gifts. It’s fun packaging you can create quickly and looks terrific!

Here is what the dies looks like:

CRACKER & TREAT BOX DIES

To make the card I added the diamonds cut out to a piece of Basic White card stock that I first adhered a piece of adhesive sheet to. In adding the diamonds, I did not think about the pattern, I just added them randomly.

Sentiment is from the Christmas Gifting Kit.

Black & White cards

Happy Tuesday, hope you had a nice weekend and that your week is off to a good start.

Over the weekend I participated in a Creative Retreat and one of the challenges was to make a Black & White card – let’s just say this was harder than I thought. I really wanted to add a pop of card to “finish” off the card.

Both cards used the Gingham Cottage 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, Basic Black and Basic White card stock.

My first card uses the Wild & Sweet Stamp Set and the Rectangle Stitched Dies. The two gingham patterns go very nice together.

Finally, the second card I made was a Easel Fun Fold card, thought this came out nice as well. Sentiments for the card are from the Limited Edition Cling Mount Stamp Set.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Celebrate with Tags

Tomorrow my Sunday Stampers will be using the Celebrate with Tags Bundle to create tags and a gift card/money holder. Today I thought I would share a project that uses both the tag & holder together.

Here is what is included in the Celebrate with Tags Bundle, item #159867 – $55.75 USD

CELEBRATE WITH TAGS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

I’ve started with a standard 5½” x 8½” card base, scored at 4¼” for a side fold card.

Card front has a 4″ x 5¼” piece of Basic White card stock with a piece of designer paper 4″ x 5¼”angle cut and adhered on left-bottom-right sides to create a pocket.

Gift holder and tag are die cut with designer series paper. Cut tag in half and add leaves from the Season of Chic Bundle. Sentiment from Party Puffin Stamp Set.

Finally, in the photo below is a close up of the gift card holder and you can see that the tag & gift card/money holder is on the front of the card and inside you can stamp or write the note of your choice. Simply Elegant Trim and Linen Thread used for the tie and bow.

Spooky Treats Halloween

So far, we have had three challenges for my online card retreat. Today I’m sharing the Pocket Card Challenge. This has been my favorite so far and I’ve made four of them. I’m only sharing the Halloween card with you today.

I’ve teamed the Spooky Treats Paper Pumpkin Kit stamp set with the Celebrate Everything 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (a host reward item).

Measurements for the pocket card:

  • Designer Series Paper – 6″ x 9¼”
    • on the 6″ side (bottom), score at 5/8″
    • on the 9¼” side, score at 2¾” and 7″
    • there will be 3 sections to the card, on the bottom cut off the left & right-side pieces to the 5/8″ score
    • adhere the 2 side pieces together, fold up the bottom piece and adhere for the pocket

Next, I’ve decorated the front with pieces of card stock stamped with images from the stamp set included in the Spooky Treats Paper Pumpkin. Ghosts were stamped in Highland Heather ink on Basic White card stock, hand cut out and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Layering Circle Dies were used to create the greeting.

Next, here’s a picture of the inside card. The card is 4″ x 5¼” (Highland Heather card stock) with a 2″ x 4″ piece of designer paper added at the bottom. I’ve only added adhesive to the bottom and sides so I can slip in a gift card to send off to someone special. You can also decorate with stamping.

Using a hole punch from the office supply store, I punch a hole, treated with about 12″ of ribbon for a pull tab.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Slim Line card challenge

Happy Saturday, hope your weekend is starting out good. We went to BJ’s warehouse this morning, came home, did some chores, and now we are sitting back relaxing enjoying the sunny day!

Today I have two cards I’ve made for an online card retreat challenge, a slim line card.  Even though I printed the measurements for some strange reason, let’s just say the Christmas card made with the Leaves of Holly Photopolymer Stamp Set is a totally different dimension. I’m very happy with how both cards came out.

With the sunflower card, I stamped in designer paper instead of Basic White.

Measurements for the sunflower card:

  • Card base – 7½” x 9″, scored at 3¾”
  • Mat layer – 3 1/8″ x 8 3/8″
  • Designer Series Paper or Basic White – 3″ x 8¼”

Next, here is what the inside of the cards looks like. For the sunflower card the inside greeting is from the Biggest Wish Photopolymer stamp set. Photopolymer stamps are great for placement when stamping.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Day after WCMD (World Card Making Day)

Each year the first Saturday in October is World Card Making Day.  Yesterday I participated in Stampin’ Up!’s card making event. I hope you did as well, it was a lot of fun and included surprise announcements!

Stampin’ Up! shared a new unreleased stamp set with coordinating products that will be available to demonstrators on Tuesday, October 4th and the public in November. Along with a Starter Kit special that starts October 4th. New Demonstrators will get an extra $30 in product, that’s a total of $155 USD of your choice of product vs. $125 USD. Perfect time to join and get the new unreleased stamp set!

Finally – October 4th – one-day FREE shipping special. All orders $75+ will get free shipping.

Stampin’ Up! employees made three different cards using different bundles. Below is the card I made using the Cottage Wreath Bundle.  The wreath and bow are Shimmery White Paper water colored before die cutting

For the second card I made, I used three different colors for the water coloring – Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry for the wreath. Bow is Cajun Craze.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Hopefully you will set sometime today to make some cards. Whether you have a specific purpose for each card you make or just want to build a stack of cards, I hope you are able to spend some creative time in your craft space on this very special day!

I’ve made two fun fold cards to share with you today. Each card is the same format, just one for Christmas and one for a birthday.

Card basics:

  • Card Base = 5½” x 7¼”, scored at 3″
  • Small card attached to the right inside = 4¼” x 4¼”, one side scored at 1″
  • attached small card to the right side, inside layer of card stock 4″ x 5¼” helps cover where card is attached
  • designer paper 3″ x 4″ for small card and 2¾” x 5¼” for outside left

Products from the Texture Chic Suite used on the card below.

Celebrate with Tags Bundle & Snowflake 12″ x 12″ Specialty Vellum featured on the card below.
