Yesterday was my Baby Brothers Birthday, when I saw the Country Club Suite of products I knew it was perfect for him!

Today I thought I would share with you the projects I sent him.  Below is a gift card holder, card and golf tee package he received.

First is his card, made using the layout from the other day.  The greeting on  the front was stamped in Poppy Parade, then stamped again in Night of Navy and using the matching die – die cut ‘Greatest Guy’. Stitched Shapes and Layering Oval Dies where used to die cut them out.

Here is the inside of the card.

In figuring out how to package golf tees, I used both Clear Medium Envelopes and Kraft Pillow Boxes. Decorated Belly Band for the pillow box and Label Topper for the envelope.

Gift card holder is made from a Medium White Envelope, sealed and about 3/8″ cut off one end.  Card stock and designer series paper are attached to the side with the flap, 1.5″ Circle Punch was used to create the half moon.  The Large Letters (Clearance Rack) spell out his name and stamped/die cut images decorate it. I left the gift card on the holder and added bakers twine to pull it out!

To package all the items I made a box just a slightly larger than a card (4.5″ x 5.75″), with a designer series paper lid.  There is a belly band and dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies finishing it off.  Images from the stamp set are on the label.  Happy Birthday is from Seaside Notions stamp set.

Today I’m featuring a Fun Fold card made with the Bonanza Buddies Bundle, which includes the Bonanza Buddies 22 piece photopolymer stamp set and 10 piece Bonanza Dies.

Here is the basic measurements to create this Fun Fold:

• Card Base is 5½” x 6½”, scored on the 6½” side at 4¼” – Bermuda Bay for this card
  • Fold & burnish score, add designer series paper to the 2¼” wide panel on the right side
• Card stock 3¼” x 4½”, scored on the 3¼” side at ¼” – Bermuda Bay for this card
  • Fold & burnish score, add Liquid Adhesive or Tear n Tape to ¼” score and adhere to left side of card base, centering
• 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper – 2″ x 5¼” (one for flap, one for inside)
•  Inside Whisper White card stock 4″ x 5¼”

For the front of my card, I used the tag die in Bonanza Dies cut from Whisper White card stock and stamped the greeting in Bermuda Bay, stamped a Koala Bear in Smoky Slate, added face in Memento Black ink and die cut with matching die to add to the front. Added a die cut Calypso Coral hat and Pompom with the Mini Glue Dot.  Banners are die cut from the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper – you can even use the dies to die cut images from the paper – pretty cool.

The inside of the card starts with a piece of Whisper White card stock cut 4″ x 5.25″.  There is a piece of designer paper 2″ x 5.25″ adhered on the left side and greeting from the stamp set on the other stamped in Bermuda Bay, I’ve also stamped a package & bow on the bottom right.

Ever use Designer Series Paper for the entire front of your card?  Well, that is what we are doing today.

I’m featuring some of the products from the Best Dressed Suite.

Here are the basic features for both cards I’m sharing with you today:

• Thick Whisper White card stock was used for the card base (4¼” x 11″, scored at 5½”)
• Front covered with Designer Series Paper cut to 4¼” x 5½”
• About 1″ from top on both side is a half moon punched using a ½” Circle Punch to help secure the ribbon that was wrapped around and tied in a bow.

For the first card I’m using the piece of designer paper with purses, purses, purses in honor of my love for purses, I have a collection of about 15 Dooney & Bourke bags! The greeting is stamped in Mini Macaron, on Whisper White card stock and die cut with a Stitched Shapes die, layered on a Daffodil Delight Scalloped Square Die, adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Daffodil Delight ¼” Ruched Ribbon from the Birthday Bonanza Suite of products.

The second card features Mint Macaron & Shaded Spruce – the piece of Designer Series Paper features this color as does the greeting. which is matted on Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce card stock with shoes in Shaded Spruce – both greeting and shoes are added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Today I’m featuring one of the dies in the Poppy Moments Dies to create the background mat for my card. This die cuts the negative images away, leaving a cut out in the paper – for my card I used the die in the top right and bottom left corners of my 4″ x 5.25″ mat. Lot’s of Stampin’ Dimensionals, both mini & regular size are adhered to the mat before adhering to the card base.

Next is a 1.75″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White card stock stamped with Poppy images in Petal Pink ink, then stamped over in Memento Black ink with the sentiment. Linen thread wrapped around and tied on a bow was added before adhering the piece to the card.

Bonus card today:

• Pear Pizzazz card base
• Pear Pizzazz mat, run through die cutting machine using Tufted 3D Folder, adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Mossy Meadow Leaf’s
• Daffodil Delight flowers (Painted Poppies Stamp Set & Poppy Moments Dies)

For me the Painted Poppies Stamp Set, which also comes as a bundle with the Painted Labels Die, is perfect to create your own background for your cards. Today I decided to use largest flower and a leaf to create the background using Memento Black Ink on Whisper White card stock which is cut to 4″ x 5.25″ and adhered directly to the Mossy Meadow card base.  Sentiment is stamped on Poppy Parade card stock.

To create all the banner used on my card today I used the Banner Triple Punch for the end, if you don’t have that punch, the Tailored Tag Punch also works nice or you can even just use your Paper Snips to cut out the banner edge.

Under the sentiment banner is a scallop border die cut with a die from the Painted Label Dies in Gold Foil.  The flower was stamped in Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers before being cut out with Paper Snips. Bow in Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

The first time I paged through the 2020 Mini Catalog one of the bundles that spoke to me was the Mountain Air Bundle, which includes the Mountain Air  Reversibles Photopolymer Stamp Set and Majestic Mountain Dies. Look for more fun 3D cards using this set in the future.

Reversibles are stamps with no edges so one side is the detailed image and the other smooth, which can fill in the image or be used on it’s own.

My first card using this bundle features paper from the 2020 Sale-a-Bration catalog, Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper.

• Crumb Cake Card base
• Cut 4″ x 5.25″ piece of designer paper, adhere at an angle to the card front and cut off excess with Paper Snips
• Whisper White card stock 4″ wide x 3.25″ tall for stamping
• Mountain ranges are both Crumb Cake and Soft Suede – full strength and stamped off. Die cut image is adhered directly to the Whisper White
• Garden Green for tree layer, directly adhered to the Whisper White
• Adhered stamped unit to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals after wrapping Linen Thread around 5 times and tying with a bow
• Sentiment from Varied Varies, stamped in Melon Mambo and die cut using an Ornate Frame Die, that is tucked under the Whisper White

For this card I’m featuring some non traditional “mountain” colors, casing a card from the 2020 Mini Catalog:

• Seaside Spray card stock base
• Seaside Spray card stock 4 1/8″ x 4.75″, stamped in Seaside Spray ink using the Cracked Paint Background Stamp
• Whisper White card stock – 4″ x 4″ for stamping
• About 3/4 of the way down from the top stamp full strength Highland Heather Mountain range, then stamp twice more stamping off first on scrap paper to obtain the “layer” look of the mountains. Remember to slightly shift the image.
• Blueberry Bushel for the next full strength mountain range under the Highland Heather
• Whisper White stamped with the detailed mountain image first, then in Blueberry Bushel stamped off to fill in, adhere directly to Whisper White
• Garden Green card stock and ink, stamp then die cut, adhere with Dimensionals
• Sponge some Seaside Spray ink for clouds, Blueberry Bushel for birds
• Sun/Moon – Crushed Curry for detail image, Daffodil Delight to fill in, 1″ Circle Punch to punch out and Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere.
• “Wishes” is from Well Written Dies, two layers in Basic Black

Today I am featuring cards using the Pigment Sprinkles to create the background colors for the images from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set.

Colors of the Pigment Sprinkles include: Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody and Melon Mambo.

For the first card:

• Mango Melody card base, with image from the stamp set stamped in Mango Melody around the edges
• 3″ x 4″ piece of Watercolor Paper, sprinkled with crystals and spritzed with water, let dry completely naturally for more vibrant colors
• Run the embossing buddy over the dried paper
• Stamp image with Versamark ink, sprinkle with embossing powder, tap off excess and heat set
• Matted on Bermuda Bay
• Sentiment is also embossed and die cut with Nested Label Dies, adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals

For the second card, I sprinkled the crystals on a Clear Block, added a few drops of water and using my Aqua Painter did a watercolor wash background on Shimmery White card stock cut to 4″ x 5.25″. Once dry, images where stamped with Memento Black Ink.  Shimmery White is matted on Basic Black on a Granny Apple Green card base. Sentiment is stamped in Memento Black and die cut with Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Happy Birthday and additional flowers where stamped on Whisper White 4″ x 5.25″ and added to the inside of the card.
