For this card I stamped the cactus image around the edges of the Soft Suede card base, which is layered with a Cherry Cobbler mat and Whisper White 3.75″ x 5″ stamped pieced using the masking technique and one little guy/girl was colored with an Aquapainter.
Here is another card, with a Soft Sean Foam base and mat, run through my die cutting machine using the new Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing folder – which is part of the Country Club Suite. I’ve stamped the images together in Memento Black ink and used Stampin’ Blend Markers to color them in, using Light Soft Suede to “ground” the image and Light Pool Party for the sky. For the greeting, I just inked the words Happy Birthday and cut out on a small piece of Mango Melody, same color as the top of the cactus.
