Today I’m featuring two stamps from the Witty-Cisms Cling Mount Stamp Set from the 2020 Mini Catalog.
Celebrate all occasions with a witty quip. This one-stop 9 piece craft rubber stamp set includes a range of reasons to celebrate birthday, baby, graduation and retirement. The Witty-cisms Stamp Set includes playful greetings and silly puns. Open line-art images can be colored using a variety of coloring techniques. The image and greeting are arranged on a single stamp making it easy to stamp once to create your project quickly. This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Lisa Fast.
My first card is a simple and would work with any of the images in the stamp set, just switch out the Country Club Designer Series Paper to match the image used. For this card I’ve used Thick Whisper White card stock for the base, and mats of Night of Navy card stock with Country Club Designer Series Paper. Layering Circle Dies in Night of Navy and Whisper White for stamping. Memento Black ink was used on all images since I’ve colored them with Stampin’ Blend Markers. Three pieces of Country Club Twine where wrapped around before the stamped image unit was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For my second card, I’ve used a Smoky Slate card base and mat. The mat piece was run through my embossing machine using the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder (part of the Country Club Suite). There are additional mats of Basic Black and Crushed Curry Card stock behind the Whisper White with the stamped image that was colored with Stampin’ Blends – combination of Smoky Slate and Basic Black. Before this unit was attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, a piece of Crushed Curry 3/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was wrapped around the bottom and tied in a bow!
