Social Distancing & Sale-a-Bration

By | March 30, 2020

Since we are now sheltering at home and practicing social distancing, I thought I would share a few cards with you featuring Sale-a-Bration stamp sets and perfect to send to the people you are missing right now!

We are getting close to the end of Sale-a-Bration, March 31, 2020, so if there are any items you want to stock up on and get free products for every $50 you spend, before tax/shipping, now is the time to do some shopping.

The first card I’m featuring I’ve seen made using a variety of stamp sets along with the SAB Gang’s all Meer Stamp Set. I started with the next to largest Stitched Nested Label Dies in Whisper White card stock and stamped the single Meerkat on each end, next I took my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and a ruler to draw a line between them, adding arrow marks at the end finishing with a 6 ft. in the center. Greeting is from the Rise & Shine SAB Stamp set in Granny Apple Green.  Card base is Crumb Cake and I’ve used the SAB items Flowering Foils & So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper, and don’t forget the super cute party hats!

In looking through the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, I came across a design in two different colors and thought about what I could make with them, then I saw the SAB Rise & Shine stamp set on my desk and thought this would make a great card to let someone know you miss then and look forward to hanging out again with them soon.

Both cards feature a Purple Posy card base, the 3rd color in the designer paper, along with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The first card is Lovely Lipstick and Petal Pink. The cups where stamped then die cut with the Cup of Cheer Dies, making sure each had a handle facing a different direction.

Here is the 2nd card made with a piece of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, this one features Pretty Peacock and Mint Macaron along with Purple Posy.

The final card for today also features the Rise & Shine stamp set. I’ve used a Basic Gray card stock base and stamped images all around the edges in Basic Gray ink for a tone on tone look. The cup was stamped in Crushed Curry, I’ve just reinked my stamp pad the ink had not yet dispersed evenly before I stamped the image so I have a tie dye look, which is just fine with me!  The “heart” on the greeting banner is actually the leaf from the stamp set, stamped to look like a heart. Finishing touch for the card is a Crushed Curry Seam Binding bow.  Don’t forget to stamp a cup on the inside (you can see a tiny part on the bottom left).

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. Have a great day – Craft On!
