Make a Wish for PCCCS#169

By | November 9, 2015

Happy Monday, how was your weekend? I had a pretty busy one, visited a few Holiday Craft shows where I picked up a Pumpkin Roll and some birthday gifts, stopped at a few consignment stores, Home Goods, Dollar Tree and food shopping – and that was just on Saturday. Sunday I decided just to take it easy, catch up on watching some You Tube video’s and watch a few Hallmark Christmas movies!

Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card challenge #169, click here to check out their blog.

To make my card I started with a card base of Whisper White. To create the pattern on a piece of Whisper White I used the Watercolor Words Photopolymer Stamp set and five different ink pads – Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder, Tangerine Tango, Cucumber Crush and Bermuda Bay. Using a scrap piece of paper to cover the top third of the Whisper White and just stamped away mixing up the images. Once I adhered the Whisper White to the Cucumber Crush mat I wrapped around a piece of the Dotted Lace Trim, tied a bow and adhered to the card base with some dimensionals. Used the Tags & Labels Framelits with Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush to create some tags and the ‘Make a Wish” is stamped in Cucumber Crush from the Perfect Pennants stamp set. To finish off the card is a Bermuda Bay heart punched from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and some Pearls.

Karen, what a bright and fun “make a wish” card you have created. I love all the random stamping you did on the bottom of the card in lieu of using a DSP. Thanks for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew. Crystal
