Happy Friday, let the weekend begin! Have any exciting plans? I’m still not sure what we are doing but a road trip just might be planned for Sunday since Monday is a vacation day for me. This evening it’s hamburgers on the grill and silver queen corn from a local farmer, we just love the tender sweet white kernels and supporting our local farmers in Western Pennsylvania.

For my card I’m using the Lilypad Lake Photopolymer Bundle, which includes the stamp set and matching dies. The card base is Whisper White with a 3/4″ border of Blackberry Bliss designer paper from the Nature’s Poem pack. I’ve stamped and die cut the heron and lilypad and colored using Stampin’ Blends in Smoky Slate, Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heather. Sea grass was die cut using Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. “Hello” is from the Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Stamp set and stamped in Blackberry Bliss on a die cut from the bundle. Faceted Dots in Blackberry Bliss add that little bit subtle bling to finish the card.
