Well now, we are three days into the new 2019 Occasions catalog, how long is your wish list, mine is rather long.
Today I thought I would share with you the new Incredible Like You Photopolymer Stamp set. It’s a lovely 15 piece set that even has a project kit that can be paired with it. For my card today I’m only using the stamp set but include information on the kit as well.
To create my card I started with a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock and stamped over about 2/3 of the 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece before scoring at 5 1/2″. When creating a background like this, I prefer to stamp first then fold, this way I can avoid any funny looking stamping along the fold line and the back of the card has a little extra design. Next I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits, which can be purchased separately or as part of the Amazing Life Bundle, for the Berry Burst mat and both pieces of Very Vanilla for stamping. Both the flowers and stems are two step stamping and I personally find it easier to stamp the detail image first then fill in with the background image – you do what’s easiest for you, we all know what works best for us. The finishing touch to the front is a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.
For the inside of the card, I did some #simplestamping – just ink, paper and stamps, using the Incredible Like You stamp set for the left side and Beautiful Day for the Happy Birthday (which I cut in half so I could layer). For the left side, I first stamped the flower, then created a mask with a post it note to cover the flower before stamping the lines down the side, just love how this came out. Don’t forget to order Very Vanilla medium envelopes which are perfect when using Very Vanilla card stock on your project.
