Have some Plastic Wrap in your kitchen?

By | May 28, 2019

Today I thought I would share a background with you made with plastic wrap – yes – the same plastic wrap you have in your kitchen. For this technique you can use Shimmery White card stock or even Watercolor Paper. All I did was open my ink refills, tear off a piece of plastic wrap and crinkle it up, drop some ink on it, spritz with water and dab all over the paper – once paper is dry stamp images/greetings of your choice. For my cards all layers are attached with liquid glue.  The banner on the blue card is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the first card once the background was dry I stamped the butterfly from Beautiful Day in Versamark ink, sprinkled with Black Embossing powder then heat set.

Colors for the background include:

  • Balmy Blue
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Pacific Point
  • Night of Navy
  • Frost White Shimmer Paint

The card base for the next card is Mango Melody and the greeting is from Amazing Life Photopolymer Stamp set and I used the Stamparatus so that if needed I could stamp the image a few times.

Colors of the background include:

  • Poppy Parade
  • Pineapple Punch
  • Mango Melody
  • Frost White Shimmer Paint
