Four Corner Flap Card

By | 30/04/2026

Hard to believe April is coming to an end!

Today thought I would share a new card design, a Four Corner Flap Card. While I’ve seen a few people make the card, I came up with my own way to cut the basics needed for the card.

What I did:

  • Card stock base – 4¼” x 7″, scored at 5½”
  • The two top front flaps are created by cutting away the section in the middle of the 1½” section
  • Each flap is 1½” wide, use your trimmer cut out the midde section from 1½” – 2¾”.
  • Cut down at 1½” on each side, then cut out the middle
  • Need 2 – 1½” squares for the bottom
    • Cover each square (4 in total) with 1 3/8″ or 1 1/4″ square of designer series paper
  • Card stock for the middle front section that holds the 4 corners together can be any size. Card below using 3¼” x 4¼”.
  • Add liquid glue to the ends of the corner flaps to adhere center piece. This way you don’t glue the card shut.
  • Embellish front as desired
  • Inside – 4″ x 5¼” designer series paper and Very Vanilla 3″ x 4″

Here’s the second card featuring the Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper.

Finally, the inside of the card. Designer Series Paper covers the inside and it’s been adorned with images cut from the paper. Even added a little ladybug!

So what designer series paper and stamps will you be using?
