Beautiful Bouquet + Scalloped Circle = Dress

By | May 29, 2018

In viewing Pinterest over the weekend I came across some cards where scalloped circles and stamp sets were used to make a card image that looks like a dress, here is my version using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and Layering Circles Framelits.

To get started I cut a Whisper White piece of card stock to 4″ x 5¼” and decided what size Scalloped Circle fit nicely in the top left corner, once die cut from Flirty Flamingo card stock, counting scallops I cut out the same area on both sides to create the “waist” and decorated with Rhinestones to create the bodice of the dress.  Next using a pencil I traced a light line to define the bottom of a dress and stamped flowers to fill up the area. Once all the stamping was done, waited a few minutes then erased the pencil marks, added some sequins with my fine-tip glue pen then adhered the bodice with Stampin’ Dimensionals and stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, hope you are inspired to try stamping.
