Weekend Retreat cards

By | 29/07/2026

This past weekend I participated in a online craft retreat and thought I would share some of the cards I made. The team suggests using what you have to make the cards and I’ve used some of my favorite designer series papers for mine.

First up, the front, inside and back of fun fold card. Artisan Sketched Designer Series Paper is a nice collection of black and white images. For my card I’ve randomly colored some of the images.

Next, embossed card front, die cutting, ink blending and colored die cut images.

You can never go wrong with any card made using the Delicate Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper, with the copper as one of the colors.

Next, how about a quilt card, fun to make and easy to get those points on the end.

The final card for today is a lot easier that it looks. While there was a quite a bit of prep work, the card went together rather easily. Below is the front and back, it does fit in a standard envelope.

Hope you now are inspired to sit down and make a few cards. These were fun to make!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting.
