Merry Christmas in October – hope you realize only 2 months until the big day!

Today I’m sharing three cards with you, all of which can hold gift cards!

I’m featuring the Beary Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and hand cutting out bears from the paper. This paper is so cute!

First up, is a Flap Gift Card Holder Card.

There is a tucked away for a gift card and the flap is used to keep the card closed.

Next card features designer series paper for the card. I’m letting the paper shine, but you can decorate the front as desired.

Here you can see both sides of the inside.  There is a pocket on the left side for a gift card and pocket card on the right side.

Finally, there is the pocket card. This card is a good use to feature designer paper and can be embellished simply or go to town!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I participated in my first craft show Saturday. It was fun and I’m thinking on participating in another one December 2nd. People commented how beautiful my cards were and even bought some!

• Brass Butterflies for embellishment

Today I thought I would share some cards made with the Delightful Floral 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, one of the Online Only Product releases. It’s a dull rainy day here, so this is a nice bright pick me up! Product colors: Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Bubble Bath, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly, Parakeet Party, Pool Party, and Pretty Peacock. Coordinates nicely with the Translucent Florals Bundle.

First up is a simple card with a matted piece of designer paper and sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set. Sentiment is actually stamped on designer paper, then the paper added to the imaged paper at an angle.

Next, we have a card with 3 different pieces of the designer paper, each 1¼” x 5¼”. Don’t forget to add the outside pieces first, then the center piece for better spacing. Nested Essential Dies used for the greeting and accent.

Next, a fun fold card featuring designer series paper.

Here is a complete view of the fun fold card, it’s a front and back section held together by a folded piece of card stock where you show off the designer paper!

Finally, a simple card with a 3″ x 4″ piece of designer paper, with a 4″ long piece as an accent.

Today I thought I would share the treats we received at the 35 for 35 Demonstrator Event I addended. Not only did we have make & takes, we received these treats! Kim & Lynn did such a wonderful job and treated all the attendees so well!

Packaging = Treats!

First up is a Scalloped Gift Card Box decorated to celebrate Stampin’ Up! 35th Anniversary. There is a slot in the box for a gift card and you can fit a small treat or treats underneath. Ours were filled with candy treats.

Next, 2023-2025 In-Color Treat Bags for a sweet treat. There are 25 bags, 5 of each color, for $10. These can be decorated for any occasion. So who out there likes Caramel Cremes and Mallow Cups?

Have you ever thought about using colored card stock with masks (stencils)?

Well, today I’m here to show you a beautiful card with Crumb Cake card stock that was colored with the Abundant Beauty Sunflower Masks.

Next, after all the color was added, the piece of card stock was run through the Cut & Emboss Machine using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

Don’t forget to add some flowers to the inside and envelope for a complete look.

Not only can use create sunflowers in any color, but there is a houndstooth, fall leaves, and snowflake mask.

Last Saturday I participated in a Stampin’ Up! 35 for 35 Demonstrator Event. To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Stampin’ Up!, Demonstrators could apply to host an event and someone from the home office attended, Cori Hancock attended our event. Only 35 events were held globally, so it was a honor to have one here!

The day was filled with networking, talking with Cori, swapping cards, making projects and having a great lunch at the Lamplighter Restaurant in Delmont PA.  We also received gifts from our host Kim and Lynn, they made some beautiful projects I’ll share next week.

Here are the 5 projects we made.

First, is a gate fold card with products from the Sparkling Snowflake Bundle and the Gold & Silver Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper. Just loved all the layers on the card!

Next, Cheers to the Season meets Autumn Leaves Bundle for the card below.

Next, our card used the Beary Cute Bundle along with the Beary Christmas Memory & More card and envelopes. This coming Sunday we will be doing a mash up of this and one of the other cards with my Sunday Stampers.

Next, the Night Devine Bundle was used for the beautiful fun fold card.

Final project is a treat holder, and we even received the package of trial mix. Tricks & Treats dies were used.

Today I thought I would introduce the All About Autumn Suite of products (pages 42-44) of the new Mini Catalog.

Today I’m featuring the punch along with the Wanted to Say Dies for a fun birthday card.

Card specifics:

• Punch out trucks in Crumb Cake card stock.
• Add to piece of One-Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper, staggering them.
• Run through Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
• Adhere to Early Espresso card stock mat, then to card front.
• Happy Birthday from Wanted to Say Dies. Basic White card stock has adhesive sheet added before die cutting (turns into a sticker) .
• Early Espresso card stock background die cut, added to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The card design has so many color possibilities, based on designer paper and die cuts used.

Hard to believe it’s October!

We spent Saturday putting away the summer lawn furniture and accessories, then with a grilled steak dinner, what did you do?

Thought I would share two additional faux fracture cards, one with the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and the other with One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper.

This card technique is a great way to use your designer series paper and it’s fun to do!

First, is a birthday card with greeting from the Circle Sayings Bundle.

Next, for this card, I’ve used designer paper for the ¼” strips vs. card stock. Greeting is from the Merriest Trees Bundle. The adhesive-backed snowflakes are great and come in three colors – copper, gold and white, perfect addition to a winter themed card.
