One of my favorite new items that as a demonstrator I was able to preorder was the Nature’s Poem Suite which includes the Rooted in Nature Bundle – the perfect companion to Lovely as a tree. The Rooted in Nature stamp set includes 16 stamps and comes in either wood or clear mount set. It’s a stamp set that celebrates nature and everything in it, including you! Create beautiful die-cut trees and leaves in record time with Framelits dies and the Big Shot. Framelits to cut out beautifully designed tree and in addition to the framelits are Thinlit leaves with a light emboss texture and die to cut them out.
For my card I’m using the coordinating Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper and Nature’s Twine. The card starts with a Soft Suede card base and 3¾” x 4¾” piece of designer series paper. Next is a piece of watercolor paper, 3½” x 4¾”, I’ve added a light color wash using the new Petal Pink and Balmy Blue inks along with Crumb Cake. Once the color wash was dry using Soft Suede I stamped the tree and Tranquil Tide for the sentiment. Finishing touch a piece of Nature’s Twine tied around bottom and Clear Wink of Stella on the tree.
