PCC307 Inspiration Challenge

By | September 23, 2018

Hope you are having a good weekend, the first weekend of fall here in Southwestern Pennsylvania is definitely fall like. Friday was in the mid 80’s, sunny and I was in the pool, now it’s 70 during the day and close to 50 at night, the weatherman/woman could  not have planned it any better. Just don’t as me about Pumpkin spice!

Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge, you can check out their blog here.  I really had a tough time coming up with what to do. I don’t have any cup stamps, so I put my thinking cap on and here is what I came up with.

To create my card, I started with a piece of watercolor paper, sprinkled with Brusho colors – Gamboge (orange), Moss Green and a little Yellow and spritzed with plain water, dabbing off any excess with a paper towel. Next in a Stampin’ Spritzer I mixed plain water with a few drops of Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint and spritzed over the entire piece of watercolor paper for a subtle shine.

Greeting is from Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer stamp set on the smallest Stitched Shapes Oval Framelit and layering on ovals from the Layering Oval Framelits in Calypso Coral and Old Olive card stock. Card base is Very Vanilla and the mat for the watercolor paper is Old Olive. Metallic Gold Thread as some dimension behind the scalloped oval.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, hope you are inspired to try paper crafting and stamping.

I love that you took inspiration from the colors of the photo. I often find the photos to be the hardest challenges and this is perfect. The brusho background is so pretty. I must try that technique. So many techniques to try, so little time! Thank you for joining the Paper Craft Crew challenge.
