Work of Art Baby Card

I was just sitting here working  when this just popped into my head, a quick and simple welcome baby card using the stamp set “Work of Art”.  It was the pastel colors I was thinking about. This is a great card you could use for a baby shower if you do not know if boy or girl or even after the baby is born as a welcome card.  The ink… Read More »

Too Kind

Today’s card is a Sympathy card I created to send to the husband of a fellow stamper. I thought simple is best. The card base and mat are Sahara Sand and I used the new ‘Large Polka Dot’ embossing folder for depth on the mat layer.  The stamp set used is called ‘Too Kind’, which is a two-step set, ink colors are, Blackberry Bliss, Wisteria Wonder and Mossy Meadow. Mats and ribbon are both Blackberry Bliss.   Craft… Read More »

Once a month my Sunday Stampers meet and yesterday was the day. Also a pleasure to get together with the ladies.  I had a request from Jan, our hostess for the day,  for a special baby card and when I saw some samples of a “Building Block Card” I knew this had to be base of my card!  I found the directions on how to make the card on the SplitCoast… Read More »

This week, my brother and sister-in-law celebrated their anniversary, thought I would share the card I made for them. The card base and background mat are Whisper White, for a nice clean look. The background is embossed with the Adorning Accents embossing folder (retiring) and highlighted with Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape.  Entire background is popped up with dimensionals.  I used the Hearts a Flutter framelits to cut out the hearts, which… Read More »

Sneak Peak!

Happy Saturday,  today I thought I would share a  card make with products from the new catalog, available June 2nd. It’s a simple card  using the new Blended Bloom Stamp,  Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. Some fussy cutting and the greeting from Itty Bitty Banners.   One tip when “fussy” cutting out a stamped image, run a black marker around the cut out edges, really helps finish the edges.  Craft on!

Tag a Bag into a Card!

Here is a card using the “Tag a Bag” Accessory kit in a different manner, sometime you just need to think outside the box. Punched out a Butterflies  in Crushed Curry and accent with small… Read More »

Sunset Colors = Card

This past week I was out of town for a business meeting.  The flight home was during sunset. The view out of the plane window was beautiful – the lights of NYC (amazing how straight some of the streets are by the look of the car lights) and the sunset!  As I looked at the beautiful colors of the sunset – all I could think of was Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Wild… Read More »
