Ok – – – I know you have some designer series paper just laying around wanting to be shown some love – well today I have for you three simple designs to help use some of that paper up to make room for the new designer paper your going to want from the Stampin’ Up! 2018 – 2019 Annual Catalog available June 1st.
First card has three designer series paper squares, the ones on the top left and bottom right are 2″ x 2″ and the middle square is 2¾”, matted on a 2 7/8″ square of card stock. All three squares are on a Soft Sky (retiring color) mat and Basic Black Card base. Starburst and 2″ circle punch were used for the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer stamp set. Adhesive back sequins finish off the card.
Another quick and easy card with a 4″ x 5¼” mat and 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of designer series paper, for interest and extra layer, there is a coordinating piece of designer series paper 1¾” x 3 7/8″ down the left side of the paper. While I made this card in a horizontal layout, you could easier turn this into a vertical layout card. Myths & Magic 6″x 6″ glimmer paper was used for added bling on the card.
Final card is simply a 4″ x 5¼”piece of designer paper matted and on a Powder Pink Card Base. Before adhering the designer paper to the mat, I die cut a large scalloped oval (Layering Oval Framelits). Stamped sentiment & flowers are a sneak peek of an upcoming stamp set available May 2018. In-Color Powder Pink bow finishes off the card.
