Today I’m featuring a card using the Natures Print Stamp Set and a new to me watercolor technique. The technique uses one of the Stampin’ Up! Silicone Crafts Mat (pictured below) and a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water.
With this technique:
- Use ink pads to add ink directly on to the silicone mat.
- Spritz ink with water.
- Ink your stamp.
- Stamp on watercolor paper.
- If desired, use a paint brush to move the ink around on the mat before inking your stamp.
I’ve added a greeting using one of the dies from the Something Fancy Dies and layered it over another die cut using Shaded Spruce card stock to mat the mat. Brass Butterflies add the right amount of bling.
Finally, don’t forget to stamp an image on the envelop for that something extra.
Remember, if you earned any $5 coupons in July, don’t forget to redeem them on your August order.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.
