In the United States it’s a day for remembering personnel who have died while serving in active military service.  People do this by flying flags, wearing red, white and blue, hold parades, wreath laying and services.

I’ve put together a card using Real Red, Night of Navy and Basic White card stock, along with a sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts Cling Mount Stamp Set.

Hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend!

Today’s card was fun to color using the Blessings of Home Stamp set, part of the Blessings of Home Bundle.

The card is a Basic Gray card base 4¼” x 5½”, with a 4″ x 11″ piece of Heart & Home Designer Series Paper, scored at 5½” and adhered to the card base.

Image was stamped in Basic Gray ink and colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blend Markers, then die cut with the coordinating die.  I’ve adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’ve added the big loop bow with a glue dot and added the sentiment on top using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds add the perfect amount of bling to the card.

Inside of the card has a 3¾” x 5″ piece of Basic White card stock. It’s been stamped with the other image from the stamp set and an additional greeting.

The card layout is perfect with designer paper you want to see both sides of!

With all the excitement of the new annual catalog, we just might forget about the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog.

Today I’m featuring two cards featuring products from the New Horizon Collection from that catalog.

Card base is Evening Evergreen cardstock and a piece of the designer series paper is layers with some die cuts. Mountains are Night of Navy and Basic White card stock.

For the second card, I’ve stamped all the images and sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink.  The linen thread was wrapped around the feature image before being adhered to the Pale Payaya card front.

Today I’m sharing with you the card I’ve made for my nephew Jake for his birthday!  The Brewed for You Bundle is perfect for him!

The Crumb Cake card base starts with glasses stamped all over in Crumb Cake ink. Next, was a strip of designer series paper. There is a vellum die cut from Stylish Shapes dies (largest circle), with stamped and die cut images layered on top. I’ve attached the images to the vellum first, some with dimensionals, before adding the vellum to the card front – this way the adhesive is hidden.

On the inside I’ve stamped the images, then cut them out with a Stitched Rectangle Die. Then I’ve layered designer paper and the stamped sentiment in Starry Sky.

Last Sunday my stampers used the Wild & Sweet Cling Mount Stamp set for one of the cards. While my card featured the Panda from the stamp set, today I have the koala and raccoon for you.

First up is “Kenny” koala, it’s fun to name the images! The mat for the image is done using the new Fern 3D Embossing folder.  Sentiment is from Nature’s Prints Bundle, both of these products are part of the Sun Prints Collection.

Kenny is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Markers and the tree with Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Markers. Sentiment is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and the Layering Circle Dies to cut them out.

Here we have “Randy” raccoon, as I like to call him. Sentiment is from the Hello Ladybug Bundle. While I used retired Neutrals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper, I’ve linked the new version below. Coloring I’ve done on this card is the grass using Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Today I have a few more samples for you of cards made with blowing bubbles for the background and my first fun fold vertical pop-out card.

First up is a bubble card starting with Blushing Bride re-inker, then realized way to light and added some Merry Merlot drops of re-inker.

Using different colors, starting light and going dark, adds nice shading to the background.

For these bubbles I’ve used Coastal Cabana, one of my favorite colors!

Here is another fun fold sample using the Happy & Heartfelt Stamp set and the Poppy Moment and Painted Labels Dies.

Here is the inside of the card. Be careful when using Stampin’ Dimensionals for the inside, it can really make your card thick – ask me how I know!

Happy Sunday!  Today I’m sharing with you the cards my Sunday Stampers will be making, using new Annual Catalog stamp sets!

First up is a card using “bubbles” to create the background on Shimmery White card stock.  This should be fun to make and any color of reinker can be used! Stamp set is the new Good Feelings set from the annual catalog.

Next up is a card featuring the new Wild & Sweet Stamp Set along with the Bamboo Beauty stamp set for images. Greeting is from Paradise Palms Bundle, thought it went well with the Panda!

How about a fun fold card using the Brewed for You Bundle.

Here is the inside, normally I’ve seen this layout horizontal, not vertical so this is a change for me, sure hope the ladies like it. They will be able to use any of the glasses for the inside. Crushed Curry and Sweet Sorbet were used for the beer and wine.

Here are two more cards featuring the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Both cards use Garden Green card stock card bases.

First up is a gate fold card with a “Jar of Flowers” for the focal image. I’ve added some vellum card stock bough punch pieces and the grid die cut from the Chic Dies part of the Season of Chic Bundle. I’ve colored the flowers with a variety of Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Inside of the card has a Stitched Rectangle die cut in Basic White card stock with sentiment from Biggest Wish Photopolymer Stamp set.

For the second card, I’m using the same sheet of designer paper. Using a blending brush, I’ve added Garden Green ink to the bottom piece to change the look.  Lovely You and Happy & Heartfelt Stamp sets used for images and sentiment. New Stylish Shapes Dies used for the circles, these are a must craft supply – get yours today!

This card shows how both sides of the paper coordinate so nicely.

One of my favorite designer series papers in the new annual catalog is the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  While I did not buy the coordinating bundle Cup of Tea, the beautiful paper can be used for numerous projects.

Here is one of the cards I’ve made using the Tea Boutique teamed up with the Color & Contour Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Measurements for the card:

• Designer Series Paper – 2 strips 1″ x 3″
• Designer Series Paper – 2 strips 1″ x 4 1/4″
• Mat for inside front – 1 7/8″ x 3 1/8″
• Basic White for inside front – 1 3/4″ x 3″

Don’t forget the inside, I’ve added a full ink strength flower vs. a stamped off flower on the front of the card.

Happy Tuesday, hope you are doing well. It’s a beautiful sunny day here.

Today I have two cards that I’ve water colored the images, stamping the images using different ink for different looks.  Both cards use Shimmery White card stock, if desired you can use watercolor paper, Basic White may pill and is not suggested.

First:

the image is stamped using Jet Black Stazon ink then colored using water painters.

Second:

for a more watercolor painting look, I’ve used Smoky Slate ink. Ink up your stamp, stamp off on scrap paper first, then on the paper you want to watercolor on. The image should be super light, providing just enough image for you to see to color.

Hints: When water-coloring I like to tap a clear block into my ink pad then use the ink on the block to “color” the images. You can also use drops of reinker if you prefer. Stazon ink is best cleaned off your stamp after each use with Stazon cleaner, specially made for the ink.
