PCC322 Color Challenge

By | January 19, 2019

Happy Saturday. Here just north of Pittsburgh we are expecting a snow storm today into tonight and tomorrow with an estimate of anywhere from 8″ – 16″ of snow. My Sunday Stampers were to meet this weekend, but I postponed until next weekend for everyone’s safety.

Today’s post is a card for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge PCC322, a color challenge. I’ve decided on Petal Pink, Coastal Cabana and Berry Burst. I’m using Soft Suede ink as a neutral for the base of my cupcake. Click here to check out their blog and play along if you like.

For my card I decided to use the “Z” fold design, but instead of a more horizontal card, I decided on a vertical layout which pairs nicely with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I’ve used the Hello Cupcake Photopolymer Stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, which can be yours free with a $50 USD purchase. I stamped the cupcake on Shimmery White Paper then used my paper snips to cut it out before adhering to a 2″ circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The finishing touch on the card are some Glitter Enamel Dots.

Here is a side view of my “Z” fold card.

  • Card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″
  • Z fold piece at the bottom is 1″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 6 3/8″
