Let’s doing some coloring and dragonflying

By | January 16, 2017

Earlier this month I featured four cards made with items from the new Occasions or Sale-A-Bration catalog, this week I feature the cards in more detail on how they were made.

First up are cards using Dragonfly Dreams and Inside the Lines Designer Series paper.

I just love this cluster of Dragonflies Thinlit, there are so many possibilities with this die. It teams perfectly with any greeting – from the coordinating stamp set Dragonfly Dreams or any greeting – below I used the Happy Birthday from Rose Wonder to turn this into a birthday card. Look through your paper stash and greetings and I’m sure you could make cards for any occasion with this design!

This card features the Sale-A-Bration item “Inside the Lines” Designer Series Paper colored with the new Watercolor Pencils and using a blender pen to smooth out the coloring.  While it’s hard to see in the picture, once I had the paper colored, I covered with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Stampin’ Clear Embossing powder and heat set, it gives a nice shine to the paper. Sentiment is from Dragonfly Dreams on Daffodil Delight and die cut with the new Stitched Shapes Framelits, they are now available for purchase today.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day – Craft On!
