Today’s the big day and I sure will be busy, I’ll be working my day job until 2pm then off to the airport for my trip to Atlanta. I’ve realized if my flights stay on time, I will not even be gone from home for 48 hours, how’s that for a “quick” trip to Atlanta for ##Onstage2018.
Last weekend I saw some youtube video’s using the Waterfront Photopolymer Stamp Set and Watercoloring – using watercolor paper, stamping the image then using your AquaPainter to color the image in, so I thought I would give it a try.
Here’s the list of colors used to create my scene:
- Soft Sky (sky & water)
- Crushed Curry (sun)
- Chocolate Chip (mountains)
- Wild Wasabi (land)
- Tranquil Tide (trees)
- Dapper Denim (water)
- Clear Wink of Stella (highlight sun & water)
Greeting is from Thoughtful Banners. I used the Classic Label punch first to punch out from a scrap of Very Vanilla, then used one side to put the paper back in from the side to get a banner flag edge. Greeting was then attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals and end trimmed off. Watercolor paper, layered on Dapper Denim which is backed with Stampin’ Dimensionals, card base is Thick Very Vanilla card stock.
