Today I thought I would share two cards I made with “The Gangs’ All Meer” Sale-a-bration stamp set. This 9 piece cling mount stamp set can be yours FREE with a $50 purchase. On both cards the images where stamped using Memento Black Ink then colored with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to create a silhouette image.
For my first card, the base is Cajun Craze card stock, Pool Party card stock for the mat and Whisper White for stamping. The sky was created using Sponge Brayers with So Saffron, Petal Pink, Pool Party and Balmy Blue. Soft Suede and Cajun Craze used for the ground. Before the mat was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals, Linen thread was wrapped around three times and tied with a bow.
For my second card, the card base is Pool Party and the mat is Cajun Craze. Shades of blue (Pool Party, Balmy Blue & Bermuda Bay) for the sky and Cajun Craze for the ground. There is a little So Saffron between the two. Four different stamps from the set where used. Greeting is stamped on a 1/2″ wide Whisper White banner, then matted with Cajun Craze and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Triple Banner Punch made punching banner ends up to 2″ a breeze!
While I used Sponge Brayers for the background, you can also use Sponge Daubers or Stampin Sponges as well.
