Today’s card feature using Shimmer Paint with Glossy White Cardstock. For all three cards I used the same method to first apply the shimmer paint to all three cards – a crumbled piece of plastic wrap (from your kitchen). All you need to do is crumble a piece of plastic wrap about the size of a golf ball, tap into some shimmer paint you added to a silicone mat and tap all over the glossy white cardstock, wait a few minutes to make sure dry and then add color if you chose.
This first card using Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint on the Glossy White with no color added, the words Merry Christmas are die cut using Call Me Clover card stock. Card base is Lovely Lipstick, a more modern red/green for Christmas.
For this card, the card base and ink used to color the background is Bermuda Bay, with Frost White Shimmer Paint. Sentiment is from Ribbon of Courage stamp set and heart die cut from the coordinating Support Ribbon Framelits. To add the color I used a cut section of a sponge and dapped all over to the color I liked. Once all the color was applied I did go over the glossy paper with a paper towel to get off any excess ink.
The final card uses Frost White Shimmer Paint applied with crumbled plastic wrap and wiped over with Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss ink. There are two layers of Happy Birthday adhered together before adhered to card using Thick Whisper White card stock.
Hopefully these cards will want you to try using Shimmer Paint, and with the Frost White you can use a reinker to make it any color you desire!
