Today, January 14th is one month until Valentines Day and the perfect day to share a simple card to make for someone special.
The card starts with 5 strips of designer paper using the new All My Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, which pairs nicely with Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White.
Strips of designer paper are cut to 1″ x 4″ and matted on a piece of Lovely Lipstick card stock that measures 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ – start first with the outside two, then the middle piece followed by the 2nd & 4th strip – this helps with a more even placement. This piece was then adhered to a Flirty Flamingo card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and top folding. One of the smallest Rectangle Stitched Framelits was used for the greeting, stamped in Lovely Lipstick and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Heart Epoxy Droplets finish off the card nicely.
Here is the inside of the card featuring the stamp of cascading hearts (which I know I’ll be using on a variety of projects) and greeting from the stamp set. The greeting is stamped using Lovely Lipstick while I used Flirty Flamingo for the hearts to match the card stock.
