Happy Birthday John!
Today one of my friends has a birthday today and I thought I would share the card I made and sent him with you.
The card is a bookbinding fun fold featuring:
- Brewed for You Bundle
- He’s the Man 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper
- Pop-out in the center from a 6″ x 6″ square of designer series paper
To make a bookbinding card take your standard 4¼” x 11″ card base, score at 4¼ and 5½” once you crease the scores adhere between the two scores to the inside, you are left with a 4¼” x 4¼” on the front and inside to decorate.
For the inside I added a “50” from the retired Playful Alphabet Dies as I wanted to make sure to remind him of his birthday years!
Finally, to create the pop-up, score 2 sides of the designer series paper at 3″ then corner to corner only for one diagonal. Next, fold in the diagonal scores and flatten. It’s easier to adhere the back to the card base, then the front of the designer paper.
