Brushed with Beauty Suite

Happy Saturday, how about four cards featuring the Brushed with Beauty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.

Share words of faith and encouragement with the Prayers & Promises Stamp Set. It features messages of sympathy, love, and support to help you create comforting cards for those who need them most. First card features a simple layout with a piece of Early Espresso card stock embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

Next, strips of designer series paper create the background. Embosse with the Damask Designers Embossing folder, or folder of your choice for a quilt look.  Strips are various widths. Remember to cut off excess before added to a mat and card base.

Thought I would try something different and made a little note card and handmade envelope. Sentiment is on an angle; I’d suggest cut the card stock a little longer than needed and once adhered cut off the excess.

For the inside added designer paper to all the side.

The fourth card is a fun fold featuring a 5¼” x 11½” piece of designer series paper scored at 1¾” – 4¾” and 7¾” then added to a 4¼” x 5½” card base. Coordinating piece of designer series paper has been added to the envelope flap.

Finally, here is what that card looks like open. Stylish Shapes Dies and the Extraordinary Washi Tape and Bundle add the needed embellishments.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hopefully these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

For the second card the Forever Florals Bundle is featured using the Delicate Dreams and Delicate Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper. Gray Granite card stock used for the card base and embossed layer, which is included in the designer paper.

Finally, a look at the entire card. The additional piece of designer series paper on the left side extends the card.

Lovely & Beautiful Suite

Today I’m featuring cards using the Lovely & Beautiful Suite Collection.

Featured Products include:

  • Beautifully Celebrated Bundle (stamps and dies)
  • Simply Beautiful Bundle (stamps and dies)
  • Lovely & Beautiful Specialty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (due back in stock end of April)
  • Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack (these are a nice thick vellum)

The first card features the Beautifully Celebrated Dies. Using Thick Basic White card stock 4¼” x 11″ scored at 5½” and the largest die pulled slight over the fold, run through your die cut machine to create a die shaped card. Add a few layers and a really cool card! Personally, these dies are a must have to me.

Next, a diagonal fold card. Flower die cut from Calypso Coral Two-Tone card stock with a Daffodil Delight center. Two pieces of Petal Pink card stock 4¼” x 11″, scored at 5½” and joined together create the base for the card. Add a score line from the corner to ¾” away from the 5½” score line.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card.

Finally, a WOW double fold gatefold wedding card.

Here is the inside of the card. Add a pocket to the back for a gift card if desired.

Cute as a Bug Suite – part 1

Welcome to March! After such a nice day here yesterday (over 60 degrees) it’s not expected to be over 37 degrees today!

Today I’m featuring the Cute as a Bug Suite Collection of products. Create charming projects with picnic patterns and friendly bugs in a warm, garden-inspired color palette.

Products include:

  • Sweet Bugs Bundle
  • Old Olive Specialty Rickrack (due back in stock late April/early May)
  • Ladybug Garden Epoxy Stickers (due back in stock late April/early May)

One of the features is how some of the dies cut out images from some sheets of the designer series paper.

First up, a card featuring both images from the designer series paper on the front and stamped and colored images on the inside.

Second card features images stamped in Memento Black ink then colored with Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers. Use the colors of your choice along with Basic White card stock, which is great for color blending with the markers.

Finally, let the designer series paper do the work. Cut a piece of designer paper 3¼” x 3¾” into 3 pieces and adhere to a mat 3½” x 4¼”, then to the card front.
