Merry Christmas in July! Hard to believe Christmas is five months from today!

As a crafter we start in the summer with our cards and projects. Today I have two cards for you featuring a non-Christmas stamp sets and dies teamed with a new Online Exclusive Bundle – Greeting of the Seasons.

Both cards are using a Basic Beige card stock base and feature the colors Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.

For the first card, the Cheerful Daisies Dies create the focal images. Gold foil sheet sprigs and iridescent gems add just the right amount of sparkle. Sentiment is from Greeting of the Seasons Bundle and stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.

For the second card I’m featuring the You are Beautiful Cling Mount Stamp Set, Real Red and Old Olive ink. On the Basic Beige the color looks more like Mossy Meadow to me so that’s what was used for the colored mat. Die cut and sentiment is from the Greeting of the Season Bundle. Basic Beige 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon Bow finishes off the card.

Today I have bright and cheerful watercolor card for you featuring a watercolor wash background.

I’ve used a few drops of ink refill with water or ink on a clear block with water to create the multicolored background. Colors include Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana. The color goes on the Fluid 100 Watercolor paper so nicely with the water painters. Deckled Rectangle Dies for the layer and a sweet tag with a greeting from Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set go nicely.

Emboss the watercolor layer for added texture.

First card features one of my favorite summer foods – Ice Cream Cones!

Card size is 5″ x 7″ for something different and features glimmer paper for “sparkly” ice cream. There is downloadable project sheet at the end so you can make one too!

Inside of the card, with the remaining piece of designer paper. Image from Light the Sky Stamp Set and add greeting of your choice.

Second card uses the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks teamed up with the Greetings of the Season Bundle. Card uses the Iconic Celebration Designer Series Paper, with this paper you can make a variety of occasions, team it up with the Everyday Greeting Stamp Set.

Third card is a Faux Step Card using the Perennial Lavendar Designer Series Paper and the Unbounded Love Bundle for the greeting and die cut.

Final image is the back of the Faux Step Card. Make sure to stamp before added to the back of the card.

Hard to believe, but today I’m celebrating by 2000th blog post!

Today I thought I would share two cards using the same die cut window layout, but with completely different looks.

Details on the cards:

• Thick Basic White Card stock base is 4¼” x 11″, scored at 5½”
• Mat (stamped with images) 4″ x 5¼”, die cut with Stylish Shapes Circle Die and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Images stamped on card front, before mat is added
• Iridescent Striped Trim wrapped around mat and tied in the knot
• Die cuts and embellishments for added details
• Envelope flap & inside stamped with images on card front

First up is a card using the Seaside Wishes Bundle, Summer Splash, Calypso Coral and Basic Beige colors. Love how the ribbon adds extra sparkle!

Translucent Florals Stamp Set and Dies was used for the second card. Colors are Pebbled Path, Boho Blue and Moody Mauve, all 2023-2025 In-Colors. Don’t you think they look good together!

Happy Sunday! It’s hot & humid again here in Pennsylvania, guess I’ll be in the pool later today.

Today I’m featuring two cards using a perfect summer color combination:

• Shy Shamrock
• Petunia Pop
• Peach Pie

For the first card I’ve stamped the images on card stock with same colored ink, embossed the card stock then added to Thick Basic White card stock base. Spotlight on Nature Bundle was used for the images and greeting. Stylish Shapes dies for greeting.

Strips of colored card stock at 1¼” wide and 4¾” tall, added to a Basic White 4″ x 5″ piece, then added to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, for this card I used some dies in my stash to cut out shapes and layer them on the card front. Greeting is from the Sweetly Scripted Cling Stamp Set.

So while I’ve used this color combo, what colors would you use.

I’ve included a variety of current die sets I feel would work wonderful for this technique.

• Cone – Crumb Cake card stock
• Ice Cream is paper pieced together on a card stock die cut
• 2024-2026 Glimmer Specialty Paper and Basic White for the ice cream
• Greeting stamped on the designer series paper

Main colors for the first card are Peach Pie, Petunia Pop and Shy Shamrock.

Peach Pie and Basic Gray are stars of the second card! Add a little ribbon and embellishments for sparkle.

How’s your week going? We had an air conditioning issue earlier this week, it’s fixed now and the house is getting cool again!

The new Online Exclusive Iconic Celebration Suite Collection is featured today. Collection includes a stamp & die bundle, paper, embellishments and ribbon.

First, a birthday card. Card is simply a 3″ x 5½” piece of designer paper adhered down the middle of the card front. Use the other half to decorate the flap of the envelope.

Next, a festive celebration card, good for any occasion. Pecan Pie, Misty Moonlight and Real Red highlights complete the card.

Third card is a fall themed with a white heat embossed greeting. Leaves are two step stamping. Leaves outline is full strength ink and filler stamp was stamped off. White 3/8″ Frayed Grosgrain ribbon is dreamy and easy to work with. Five yards are on the spool.

Final card is a split front card for the holidays. Used a die from the bundle to join the front pieces together.  Trees are die cut from the designer series paper. Card base is Cherry Cobbler.

In case you don’t know, I’m a big Hallmark Christmas movie fan and am enjoying Christmas in July movies right now!

Four months from today I will be boarding the very first Hallmark Christmas Cruise with my friends Cindy and Tina! We will get to meet Hallmark stars and even see a movie before it’s shown on television, how cool is that.

In honor of the event, thought I would share a Christmas card with you today, and the 5th of each month up to the cruise!

Today’s card is a Faux Step card using some of the new Online Exclusive products and the Merriest Tree Dies. I’ve even included a sweet nail file gift made from the remaining 6″ x 6″ piece of designer series paper.

Card Specifics:

• Card base is 5½” x 8½”, scored at 1¼” – 2½” – 5½”
• Designer Paper for the base:
  • 1″ x 5¼” and 2¾” x 5¼”
• Faux Step card is 3¼” x 8½”, scored at 4¼” and adhered to the front and back of the card (at the bottom)
• Decorate as desired

Nail File Holder:

• Card stock 2″ x 11″, scored at 3¼”
• Designer Series Paper – 1¾ x 5½” and 1¾” x 3 1/8″ (for bottom portion if desired, I’ve used die cut trees instead)

Thought I would share two cards made with the new Frosted Forest Decorative Masks, part of the Frosted Forest Bundle (stamps, dies, & masks). I’ve only purchased the masks and have enjoyed crafting with them.

First off, both cards, I’ve used the Country Woods Designer Series Paper for the background.

Next is birthday card with Early Espresso trunks and Garden Green leaves. Stamp set used is Sweetly Scripted and the tree was done three times, not worrying if they overlapped.

Final card for today, uses a different color for each of the leaf masks to create fall looking trees. Colors are Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Berry Burst, just love how it turned out. The new Iconic Imagery Bundle was used for the greeting and die cut.
