Today we celebrate Memorial Day in the United States of America.

The Memorial Day weekend is about honoring those men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedoms that we have today. We have our flags flying today, hope you have yours out as well.

Here is the card I’ve made honoring those who gave their lives for the freedom we have today.

Next, here are the colors and products used:

• Returning color Blueberry Bushel
• Real Red for flowers
• Rhinestone jewels for flower centers
• Countryside Corners Dies
• Petal Park stamp set & coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch

To create the layers, I first stamped on a 4¼” x 5½” piece of Basic White card stock, then center the dies you want to use (post it notes helped hold them in place) and die cut them out.

Next, largest piece adhered direct to card front and center piece is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Some of the flowers hanging off the edge of the smaller section.

Finally, here is a peek inside the card. I’ve added flowers and leaves, along with using a blending brush to add some blue to the corner.

Happy Saturday! Any special plans for the weekend? I’ve taken some vacation time so I’m enjoying a 6-day weekend!

It’s that time of the year, between Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Birthdays, Wedding and Graduations to name a few – gift card holders come in handy. Here are 2 ideas featuring products from the Countryside Corners Bundle.

Card specifics for the first idea:

• Card base = 4¼” x 11″, scored at 1¾” and 5½”
• Designer Series (Patterned) Paper
  • front – 3½” x 4″
  • right side panel – 1½” x 4″
  • left inside thumb notch panel – 1½” x 4″

Next, I have the inside for you, Gift card holder section is on the left. It’s easier to add the designer series paper, punch out a thumb notch and adhere.

Finally, the largest of the dies and designer series paper makes a quick easy gift card holder. Fold a piece of paper in half so it’s slightly larger than the die, die cut leaving one long edge over the folded side, this way the bottom is not cut. Then, fold one side in half, adhere edges with Tear and Tape to close up. Slip in the gift card. If desired, punch a couple holes and add a bow.

Last week I watched a friends Facebook live and just needed to CASE the card she made – thanks Ann!

The card features the Petal Park Stamp set and Petal Park Builder Punch, two carryover items from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog along with the new Layering Leaves Photopolymer two step stamp set. This set coordinates with the Bough Punch.

With these four items, there are so many possible color combinations!

Colors used:

• Pool Party – card base and filer stamp for the leaves
• Lost Lagoon – card stock mat and leave outline, including those punched from Pool Party card stock.
• Calypso Coral – flowers, splatters and sentiment
• Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls

Next, remember, when adding the leaves, use a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional on the end for lift, adds just the right amount of depth.

Finally, to finish the card, I stamped a leave and sentiment on the inside.

Happy Birthday to my favorite nephew Jake!

Hope you had a good weekend. Our pool is now ready for holiday weekend, which I’m really excited about!

Today I’m teaming the Irresistible Blooms Bundle with the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper.

The long and circle die cuts are made with the new Holographic Trio 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. Use these dynamic, colorful sheets with dies, punches, or as layering pieces for your next card or gift tag. The colors seem to shift and change as you move the page for a mesmerizing effect. There are 6 sheets, 2 of each holographic pattern.

Happy Sunday! Today my Sunday Stampers are meeting and here are the cards we will be making.

The first card uses the Countryside Corners Bundle for a fun fold card. Card base is made with the Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.

Did you know the images from the Lasting Joy Photopolymer Stamp set coordinate with the paper above? The card uses both the Countryside Corner and Lasting Joy Stamp set.

Next, the second card features the Circle Sayings Bundle. Bundle is combine with sheets from the Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and Soft Shimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. Stylish Shape dies used for the circl mat and small banner.

Finally, the last card is a “Faux” Step Fun Fold Card. Hint to make putting this card together is using the corner of your Simply Score Tool to line up the four front pieces.

Saturday, I posted a card using the pretzel image from the Super Cool Photopolymer Stamp Set. Now, I’m using the ice cream cone image for a card. The idea for the came from images with the stamp set online.

Card specifics:

• Orchid Oasis card stock card base
• Basic White card stock – 3 3/8″ x 5 1/2″
• Basic White card stock strips – 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (need 2)
• Ink pads:
  • Sweet Sorbet
  • Lemon Lolly
  • Parakeet Party
  • Orchid Oasis
  • Tahitian Tide

When the images were stamped, I started with the middle image, then, far left and far right. Once those are stamped add the ones in between. Next, add the Basic White stamped section to the card front, then add the thin Basic Black strips. Using liquid glue gives a little wiggle room if you need to adjust the strips and make sure they butt up against the Basic White section.

Next, on the inside of the card I’ve stamped two of the sentiments along with a Lemon Lolly ice cream cone.

Finally, Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls add some bling to the card front!

Don’t know about you, but I had a wonderful weekend!

Julie McLaughlin, a friend of mine from high school, wrote a book, A Gift of Time: A Birth Mother’s Memoir. Saturday, she checked a few boxes off her bucket list with an appearance at her local library, which included a reading from the book. I went with friends Linda and Judy went to support her, have a wonderful late lunch and Sarris Candies afterwards.

I was so glad to get my shipment so I could start making cards with these items.

Happy Anniversary to my brother Michael and sister-in-law Diane!

For their card I’ve used the Ringed with Nature Photopolymer Stamp set and the coordinating Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. One of the nice features of the stamp set is the variety of greetings included, so many uses!

Flowers are stamped with Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Berry Burst ink, then cut out with my Paper Snips. Stems are die cut and even some Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics added to look like berries.

Here is the inside of the card. The two step flowers stamped on the bottom right are easy to line up and stamp.

Some additional features of the card:

• Copper Clay one of the new 2023-2025 In-Colors used for the card base
• In-Color Dots are the embellishments used on the card
• Greeting stamped on Daffodil Delight card stock in Copper Clay ink and cut down to about ½” x 2½”
• Same designer paper on card added to back of envelope

For the card I’m using some of products from the Bright & Beautiful Suite While I did not order the Gold Celebrations 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, I’m waiting for my product order to be delivered with window sheets and sequins for shaker cards!

Main card colors are Lemon Lolly, Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushel.

Layer some Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper on Berry Burst card stock.

Next, die cut balloons, add twine, then add to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, sentiment on Basic White card stock banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Card can be used for a birthday, graduation or any event you can think of!

Orchid Oasis, such a beautiful color, the picture just does not do it justice.

Today I’ve teamed the Deckled Rectangles Dies with the Petal Park Stamp Set and coordinating punch. Items are a carryover from the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog.

Leaves are Old Olive and Granny Apple Green, while the flowers are Orchid Oasis. Outlined image of the flowers are full strength while the filler image has been stamped off once first.  Center of the flowers are from the Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems in Lemon Lolly.

While I’ve used the “Lasting Joy” stamp set, any small greeting you have will work.

Also, die cut the smaller rectangle from the larger one to save on card stock.

Happy Friday! Today I thought I would share the first card I made with the Beautiful Balloons Bundle. There are 16 photopolmer stamps and 13 dies in the bundle.

One of the main reasons I wanted this bundle is the long die at the bottom – it makes fringe! But now that I stamped with it – wow, it’s a must have!

Just color in colors in the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper: Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Pretty Peacock

A new favorite color combo:

• Pretty Peacock
• Lemon Lime Twist
• Berry Burst

For the inside I used another Lemon Lime Twist mat, with Basic White card stock for stamping. So many possibilities with this bundle.
