In the Moment

This is a fun week for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators!

Wednesday, March 29th at 1pm MT or 3pm EST for me, I will be able to download a PDF version of the new 2023-2034 Annual Catalog.

What does the new annual catalog mean?

  • New 2023-2025 In-Colors – wonder what they will be called?
  • Color Refresh – what colors are staying, leaving or returning?
  • Retiring Products (lists made a available)

Today I thought I would share a card featuring the “In the Moment Stamp Set” – will it be on the retiring list?

Sentiments from the set are stamped in Soft Suede ink on Soft Suede card stock. Stylish Shapes Dies created the circles from Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. Image stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White, then die cut with largest square from Stylish Shapes Dies. While I used Stampin’ Blend Markers to color the image – you don’t even have to color the image. Rectangle from Rose Gold paper and sentiment finish the card!

Why not think about joining Stampin’ Up! now to see the catalog early, pre-order some select products and receive a discount.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

1 3/4″ Circle Punch Cards

Happy Saturday! Don’t forget tonight most of us here in the United States start Daylight Savings time. We will “spring” ahead our clocks by 1 hour. I’m definitely a fan of having more sunlight in the evening!

Today’s cards feature the 1¾” Circle Punch – one of the Online Exclusive Products. If you don’t have this punch, it’s the perfect time to get one or even use one you have.

Specific for the cards:

  • 1 3/4″ Circle Punch
  • Scraps of paper
  • Basic White card stock for mat
  • Thick Basic White card stock for card base
  • Versamark to stamp greeting
  • Basic Embossing Powders and Heat Tool
  • Embellishments for bling

For the first card I’ve used Designer Series or Patterned Paper to punch out a bunch of circles and adhered them to the 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Basic White card stock, cutting off the excess. Card base for both cards is Thick Basic White card stock.

For the second card, I’ve used scraps of card stock to punch the circles. Die cut is from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set and colored using Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Naturally Gilded DSP

Happy Thursday, hope you week is going well.

Today I thought I would share three cards made with one of the Online Exclusive products.

Bring a shiny take on nature with the Naturally Gilded 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. Each sheet has a silhouette of delicate florals or slender trees printed in metallic foil and covered with subtle spatters. Die-cut or punch for accents or use larger pieces for a brilliant background on cards or scrapbook page. It’s a simple way to bring brightness to your crafting!
There are 6 sheets in the package, 2 each of 3 designs. Colors include Copper, gold, silver, Very Vanilla and Basic White.

Sympathy cards are one of the hardest to make, this paper makes it easy. Peaceful Moments stamp set provided the greeting. Which stamp set would you use?

Middle card has a light amount of color added with Blending Brushes using Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and So Saffron.

Finally, the last card features Merry Merlot and Very Vanilla card stock. Greeting is from the Season of Chic stamp set.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today, hope these projects have inspired you to try paper crafting. When you decide to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products, I would appreciate your business.

Playing in the Rain

Later this month when my Sunday Stampers meet one of the cards we will be making uses the Playing in the Rain Bundle along with the coordinating Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper.

With the Rain or Shine 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper you can add a splash of rain to your projects. This paper has a touch of glossy coating on some designs, giving a realistic rain effect. There are both soft and bright colors, fun patterns as well as flowery and rainy designs that can be used as card backgrounds.  This fun paper is full of creative possibilities!

Colors in the paper include Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, and Old Olive.

RAIN OR SHINE SPECIALTY 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

Die cuts from the designer paper along with card stock help create the scene on the front, along with stamped and die cut clouds and water. I’ve added a thin line of Balmy Blue around the inside of the clouds and water for depth.

Here is the inside view of the card. I’ve added a die cut bridge on the inside as well.

Have a birthday beer!

Happy Sunday, hope you are having a good weekend.

How about a quick and easy card for a masculine birthday? The layout for the card is turning out to be one of my favorite designs. Any coordinating designer (patterned) paper works great, just add a coordinating card base, die cut or punched image and greeting and your done.

Products used and measurements:

  • Sahara Sand card stock base
  • He’s the Man Designer Series Paper
    • 2 – 1½” x 3 (these can be the same or different)
    • 1 – 3″ x 3″
  • Brewed for You Bundle
  • Gray Granite, So Saffron and Early Espresso ink pads
  • Stylish Shapes Dies
  • Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots

For the inside I did something different. There are stamped beer glasses on either side and a 3″ x 3″ Very Vanilla square in the middle with the inside greeting and room to sign your name.

Think I’ll take a look at my designer series paper and make a few more of these cards!

Irresistible Blooms Bundle

Happy Friday, any special weekend plans?

Today I’m featuring two cards using the Irresistible Blooms Bundle and coordinating paper.

The Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is beautiful. There are dies in the bundle that will die cut out two flowers and the leaves. Colors include Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, and Soft Sea Foam. Did you notice two old colors that just might be returning soon!

I was lucky enough to find my Pretty Peacock ink pad to use for the greetings, I just needed to re-ink the pad. Used by Stamparatus for a nice deep color.

Here is what the paper looks like.

HELLO, IRRESISTIBLE 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

My first card has a Soft Sea Foam base, with a 4″ x 5¼” piece of designer series pattern used with the circle die cut. Flower and solid leaves die cut from the paper and detailed leaves are die cut with Soft Succulent card stock. Loose Frosted Dots adhere easily with a drop of liquid glue and your Take-Your-Pick tool.

For this card, the Picture This Dies provided the die cut for the greeting. I’ve added the designer paper directly to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.

Currently the Loose Frosted Dot Embellishment are not available, hopefully they will be in soon!
