Today’s card highlights one of the pleasures of fall – the changing colors of leaves. Don’t you just love going for a nice drive in the country to look at all the beautiful colors of the leaves as they change. I can remember as a child it was a special treat to take a car ride on the weekend just to look at the colors of leaves and have dinner at a restaurant, anyone still do that?
My card features the Colorful Seasons Bundle, buy these two coordinating products and save 10%. Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set – Summer, spring, winter, autumn… we don’t care what season it is…we’ll stamp for all of them with this set and we’ll have fun doing it, set includes 24 photopolymer stamps. The Seasonal Layers Framelits Thinlits Dies helps create die-cut accents easily with Thinlits dies and the Big Shot, the set includes 17 dies and the largest image is 6-1/8″ x 1/2″.
My card starts with a Thick Very Vanilla card stock card base and mat of Early Espresso which is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the base. Next is a piece of Very Vanilla with the sentiment stamped in the middle, branch die cut from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and a bunch of leaves die cut from a variety of scraps. Some of the colors I used include Rich Razzleberry, Copper Foil, Crushed Curry, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Berry Burst – just raid your scrap pile (I know you have one!), some are glued directly to the card some are backed with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
