Today I thought I would feature one of my favorite stamp set with coordinating dies – the To A Wild Rose Photopolymer stamp set and Wild Rose Dies. The 13 piece photopolymer stamp set is a stunning photorealistic rose to adorn your favorite projects. To a Wild Rose Stamp Set features a regal three-step rose and was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Mary Ellen Byler.
For the first card I stamped all the images on a piece of Whisper White card stock, then matted on Pretty Peacock card stock and Thick Whisper White card stock for the base.
The flower outline stamp is in Pretty Peacock ink, next using Seaside Spray ink I stamped the 2nd image (highlights) then the background image with 2nd generation ink (ink your stamp, stamp on scrap paper, then stamp your good image). The leaves are Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz ink (this color is 2nd generation as well). To add a little pizzazz to the card, I die cut two small flowers from the die set and added them to the back of the ‘hello’ banner, which is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the “stepped up” version of the card I decided to first stamp and die cut three flowers and five leaves, then layered them on a 3¾” x 5″ piece of Pretty Peacock card stock that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. The flowers are all added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and leaves are adhered with either liquid glue (for wiggle room) or Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.
