It’s Friday and what makes it even better is I am using a vacation day today! Funny how you can still wake up at the same time the alarm normally goes off. Nothing special planned, might drive to the outlet mall, I haven’t been there for a while and of course try to get some crafting time in, have a few idea’s I’d like to try with the new Festive Flower Builder Punch.
My card for today is for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge, this week it’s a Tic-Tac-Toe Board, what fun! I decided on straight down the middle: Birthday – Embossing – Ribbon.
To make my card I started with a card base of Very Vanilla where the front is covered with Old Olive that has been run through the Big Shot using the Brick Wall embossing folder (for the Embossing dry/heat). Next is a strip of Watermelon Wonder with banner ends with two pieces of paper from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack layered on top. I saw the Very Vanilla Subtle Strips Ribbon sitting on my bookstand and thought that would be perfect for the ribbon choice, it’s looped over and a banner end sticks out. Finally the focal image uses the Tin of Cards and Celebrate Today stamp sets (for the birthday) stamped on Very Vanilla, matted on Old Olive and backed with dimensionals. Pearls were added for some bling.
Thank you for stopping by today, hope you liked the card. Click on any of the images in the supply list for more information or to place an order. Have a great day, Craft On!
