Happy Wednesday, half way through the week!
Today I thought I would share a couple cards made with the Sale-a-bration stamp set Thoughtful Blooms ($50 item) and the coordinating Small Blooms Punch ($100 item). This stamp set is perfect for creating your own backgrounds and even has a three sentiments. It’s a photopolymer stamp with 17 stamps, some are two-step stamping and three of the flowers coordinate with punch.
The card on the right is a Granny Apple Green card stock base with a mat of Early Espresso and Starburst punched image in the same color. Colors for the background include Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove. Three flowers where stamped in Grapefruit Grove on Daffodil Delight and punch out, they are adhered with a Mini Black Dimensional. Sentiment was stamped on 2″ circle, adhered to Starburst, adhered to the Whisper White layer, excess cut off and then adhered to the mat, which is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here is a close up of the Bermuda Bay card, which is a 4¼” square. The Whisper White piece is 4″ x 4″ with a few of the images both first and second generation stamping. When doing this type of background I rotate the paper as I randomly stamp the images, not worrying about overlapping. Sentiment is matted and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
