Sunday Stamper Cards

By | 15/02/2015

Happy Sunday, today my group of Sunday Stampers meet and I’m sharing with you the projects we will be making. Each month we meet and make three projects.  We will be using a variety of items from the 2015 Occasions catalog as well as the Irresstibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

The first card uses Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set, Whisper White & Early Espresso card stock, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso and VersaMark Ink pads,  a sponge cut in quarters, Clear Stampin Emboss Powder, Embossing Buddy & Heat Tool.  Cool part of the card is stamping the tree using Early Espresso & Wild Wasabi ink, then stamp with Versamark over what you just stamped (easy to see because the stamps are photopolymer), clear emboss, then use sponge daubers to color the sky and grass.

Second project uses a variety of items including the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies, Celebrate Today Photopolymer Stamp Set and Balloon Framelit Dies ( which can be purchased together as a bundle to save 15%), Whisper White, Night of Navy and Calypso Coral Cardstock, Gold Foil Paper, Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack, Squares Collection Framelits (use 3rd & 5th from center to create window frame in Calypso Coral), Night of Navy & Calypso Coral Ink pads and Sponge Daubers. Use the Big Shot and Magnetic Platform for easy placement to die cut everything.  You can use either Fast Fuse or Red Sticky tape to put the bag together.

Final project highlights the fun of using the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The paper is white and has different embossed images on it which can then be used to create your own colored designed paper. Card base is Crisp Cantaloupe and mat is Mossy Meadow. Stamp images of your choice on the Irresistibly Yours paper and wipe away the excess ink (as it does not stick to the embossed areas of the paper).  Sentiment is stamped with Staz-On Black (it doesn’t wipe off). I used a piece of vintage ribbon in Rich Razzleberry as a highlight. special paper card
