So far, we have had three challenges for my online card retreat. Today I’m sharing the Pocket Card Challenge. This has been my favorite so far and I’ve made four of them. I’m only sharing the Halloween card with you today.
I’ve teamed the Spooky Treats Paper Pumpkin Kit stamp set with the Celebrate Everything 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (a host reward item).
Measurements for the pocket card:
- Designer Series Paper – 6″ x 9¼”
- on the 6″ side (bottom), score at 5/8″
- on the 9¼” side, score at 2¾” and 7″
- there will be 3 sections to the card, on the bottom cut off the left & right-side pieces to the 5/8″ score
- adhere the 2 side pieces together, fold up the bottom piece and adhere for the pocket
Next, I’ve decorated the front with pieces of card stock stamped with images from the stamp set included in the Spooky Treats Paper Pumpkin. Ghosts were stamped in Highland Heather ink on Basic White card stock, hand cut out and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Layering Circle Dies were used to create the greeting.
Next, here’s a picture of the inside card. The card is 4″ x 5¼” (Highland Heather card stock) with a 2″ x 4″ piece of designer paper added at the bottom. I’ve only added adhesive to the bottom and sides so I can slip in a gift card to send off to someone special. You can also decorate with stamping.
Using a hole punch from the office supply store, I punch a hole, treated with about 12″ of ribbon for a pull tab.
