Today’s card uses a 5½” x 8½” piece of embossed card stock for the card base.
How did I do that you ask?
Well, Stampin’ Up! has a couple embossing folders that measure 6″ x 8½”. My card features the So Swirly Embossing Folder and there also is the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder that’s the same size.
For the card base, a piece of 5½” x 8½” Highland Heather was run through my die cutting machine. You will notice a slight ¼” or so will not be embossed, I just put that side in the back.
Spotlight on Nature dies used to die cut the circles on the front of the card. Greeting is from the Labeled with Love Bundle.
Next, here is a look at the inside of the card. A piece of the designer series paper was used to mat the Basic White card stock for a little added strength to the card base. Butterfly stamped in Blackberry Bliss and dots are in Fresh Freesia.
