Today I thought I would share with you a simple design showing both a “simple” and “stepped up” version of the same designer series paper, which I’m featuring Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper from the Fine Art Floral Suite of Products in the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog.
Card basics:
- 2¾” x 4″ Designer Series Paper
- 1″ x 4″ Designer Series Paper
- Card stock for the base
- Sentiment of your choice
- Embellishments & accents of your choice or keep it simple
Here is the first simple card, just paper, ink and a stamp.
For the stepped up version of this card I’ve stamped tone on tone for the card base and matted the designer series paper with Gold Foil Sheet that was run through the Cut & Emboss machine using the Subtle 3D embossing folder.
How about two more cards, this time using another of the patterns from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.
First is the simple version, just card stock, designer series paper and a sentiment.
For the stepped up version of this card, I used the Night of Navy Blend Markers to color the 3/8″ Fine Arts Ribbon to highlight that color in the designer paper. Again, I matted the designer paper, add the sentiment on paper backed with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some rhinestones.
