Welcome to Simple Saturday, a weekly series featuring cards made with one stamp set. Today’s cards features designer series paper and the retiring stamp set “Fabulous Four” – available in both wood and clear mount.
The card starts with creating the design using strips of designer series paper. First I cut about 20 strips, ½” wide of designer series paper and a piece of Whisper White cardstock 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. To start I determined what strips would be used to break the white into four segments and used Fast Fuse to adhere them. Next is the fun part, just adhere the strips in any pattern you desire, once all are attached, flip the piece over and cut off the “over hang” of designer paper. This piece was then adhered to a card base of Whisper White (or you could use coordinating card stock).
The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White, adhered to cardstock matching the ink color and backed with Stampin’ dimensional’s when placed on the card. These are fun easy cards to make using even scraps of paper, have fun creating your own masterpieces!
