Dropping by today to share a quick and easy note card I created while cleaning up my desk. I have a tendency to hold on to my scraps and while cleaning found I had six pieces of Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper all the same size. Looking at these scraps I thought if I adhered them all together, on another scrap of paper, then matted on a scrap of Shaded Spruce I’d have a nice focal image for a card, not to mention use up a few of my scraps. A Whisper White note card was perfect to use, finished the card by adding a sentiment to a Whisper White stitched die cut oval, Shaded Spruce scalloped oval and finished with ribbon wrapped around and tied in a bow. Since I had another scrap that fit the flap of the envelope, I glued it on and trim off what was not needed.
This a good idea for using those designer paper scraps you have laying around – or just cut and create some scraps to use!
