Happy Friday and the beginning of Hallmark Gold Crown Christmas Week!
I’m a big fan of Christmas and all the movies on the Hallmark Channel. Today starts Christmas in July movies – guess what I will be doing this weekend, in between pool time of course! Hopefully watching the movies should provide inspiration for some additional Christmas ideas.
Today I’m featuring my first Christmas card of the season made with the Pop of Petals Bundle, which comes in both Clear and Wood Mount. The stamp set includes 12 stamps for a plethora of choices of pretty popping petals and the Four-Petal Flower Punch to punch out a four-petal flower 1 ¾” x 1 ¾”.
For my card I stamped 6 flowers in Lovely Lipstick on Whisper White card stock, punched them out and adhered two together to make the flowers. On the Whisper White mat, I stamped Merry Christmas in Lovely Lipstick on the lower right corner. Before adhering the flowers to the card front, I stamped some leafs and berries. Leafs are done in Shaded Spruce. The finishing touch are Gold Faceted Gems in the center of each flower.
