How about something fun and different.
At the Dollar Tree the other day, I saw these Post It Notes and noticed how they matched the new In-Colors of Pretty in Pink and Shy Shamrock, so I just had to buy them. There were also some small pens and thought they would be perfect together.
Here’s the Shy Shamrock version with pen holder.
Here is how did I make them, it’s pretty simple.
- Measure the size of the Post it Notes (these are 2½” x 3″ and about 3/8″ wide)
- Length of card stock – 3″ + 5/8″ + 5/8″ (for pen) + 3/8″ + 3″ = 7 5/8″
- Score at 3″ – 3 5/8″ – 4 ¼” – 4 5/8″ and burnish with bone folder
- The 2nd & 3th scores are folded together and 2 slits cut about 5/8″ from each end for the pen, glue the top and bottom portion of the fold together
- Glue Post it Notes to the inside of the holder
- Decorate as desired.
- Holder size depends on the size of the Post it Notes
Finally, the Pretty in Pink version with a bright pink pen!
