Happy Monday, hope you had a nice weekend. I was able to spend a few hours in the craft room preparing for this month’s Sunday Stampers class, as well as have a manicure & pedicure, oh how I love that! Having my nails polished makes me feel good and this time I tried a new Nail Dip Powder on my finger nails, it’s non-toxic, shiny, crack & chip resistant, environmentally friendly as well as calcium and vitamin E fortified. The color I picked reminds me of Berry Burst, guess that’s why I liked it.
Speaking of Berry Burst, let’s talk about today’s card featuring the Pop of Paradise Stamp set. Palm fronds, pineapples, and flamingos. How could this not brighten someone’s day? Go ahead, make their day!
My card features the flamingo stamped in Berry Burst on Whisper White and die cut with an oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. The scalloped Berry Burst oval it is framed on is also from that framelit set. For the background I stamped images in Lemon Lime Twist and Crushed Curry on Whisper White, mounted that on a mat of Berry Burst and adhered to the Lemon Lime card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I stamped it with Emerald Envy on Whisper White and hand cut with paper snips. I used the new Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere on either side to the card front. The inside is stamped with Emerald Envy pineapples. It’s a bright and cheerful card to send as a thank you for that summer bar-b-q you just attended!
