Don’t know about you, but in these days of texting and emails, sometime it’s just nice to have a card handy to send that special thank you to that someone special. We all need to send more thank you cards to let people know we appreciate both the small and big things they do for us!
I used this weeks Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch to help me create a great card to use for such an occasion. Don’t forget to stop by their blog for other great designs.
For my card I decided on a piece of designer series paper from the Adventure Bounds DSP Stack and butterflies. I used the pebble paper, matted on Island Indigo on a card base of Whisper White. Used the Kinda Eclectic & Butterfly Basics stamp set to create the butterflies, punched out with the matching punches. The squares are 1 1/4″ & 1″. Stamp pads used are Island Indigo, Cajun Craze & So Saffron. Sentiment is from ‘A Dozen Thoughts’ and rhinestone jewels add a little bling!
PS: Remember the Hexagon punch is great for making banner ends on strips of paper 🙂
