Happy Friday, one more day, not sure about you but I’m ready to start the weekend! The weather has been really nice – in the 50’s the last few days. I even when to the store in my flip flops. I’ll be getting ready for my Sunday Stampers group Saturday – – – cutting paper, checking supplies and making a few more samples to share. We will be making a Berry Basket and doing the Bokeh technique to make a card. I’ll post the projects Sunday, so come on back.
My card for today is for the Paper Craft Crew Card sketch challenge. Go over to their blog to see what their design team has come up with and enter a card just like I did! Design below.
We have a few friends having babies over the next few months, so I thought, why not to a baby card and be prepared. To start my card I cut a piece of Lullaby Designer Series Paper and matted it to a piece of Baked Brown Sugar. Next, I add some Coastal Cabana to the bottom half and covered the seam with Hello Honey Stitched Satin Ribbon. I attached this piece with dimensionals to a Whisper White card base. Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped the alligator, lion and monkey from Zoo Babies one on top of another on a piece of Whisper White. To add a little something-something after I stamped I covered the entire piece of Whisper White with Versamark ink, covered with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and heat set for a sparkling effect. That piece is then matted on Baked Brown Sugar and adhered with dimensionals. Used the Kinda Eclectic stamp set for the butterflies and punched out with the matching punches. On the right side of the image is a Wild Wasabi Circle layered on a Baked Brown Sugar Starburst. Sentiment is from Zoo Babies, using the hexagon punch for the end. To finish the card I added a bow and added rhinestones for bling. Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the card, Craft On!
