Good morning, hope you are all staying warm and enjoying the weekend. I ran some errands yesterday, made a birthday for a special little boy for his first birthday, will post that card December 1st and finished the Christmas swag for above our television – colors are green, red and gold. I’ll be posting a photo of the swag on Instagram – follow me at “Cqueen309”. Today I plan on making a few more cards while watching some football, Steelers play Monday night – hopefully the right team shows up in Tennessee.
Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch, check out their blog to see some great designs by their talented team and other crafters just like me – why not post a card there yourself! Sketch is below.
As soon as I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to do a Black & Gold holiday card – we have some friends that are big Pittsburgh sports fan’s and I enjoy sending them Black & Gold holiday cards. Main paper colors used for the card are Basic Black and Gold Foil, with an accent of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper (hard to tell its behind the Lucky Stars embossed gold foil and used as a banner), there are Stampin Dimensionals between the layers. The stars are from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set and heat embossed with gold. There are Stampin Dimensionals between each star layer. Used the Stars Collection Framelits, which match, to die cut them. There is gold ribbon and three little circles as accents.
Thank you for stopping by today, hope you enjoyed the card. Have a great weekend, Craft On!
