Good morning, hopefully you all enjoyed that extra hour of sleep that night, I know I did. The Christmas movies started on the Hallmark channel and let’s just say I was up a little to long last night. Funny how I can watch the same movie again and still enjoy it, something about the holidays – I just love them.
Todays card is for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch challenge. Here is the sketch.
For this card, I decided I wanted to do something with the Seasonally Scattered stamp set and use the Love Stamp. I started by stamping the image on scratch paper to see just how big of an opening I would need in my “picture frame”, once I decided on the size of the opening, I used a piece of Melon Mambo paper and my Stampin Trimmer to cut the opening. The Heart border punch provided the edging and the hearts have a piece of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper behind them. There is also Dazzling Diamond Glitter inside the letters of the word Love. The Melon Mambo frame is backed with dimensionals, same as the sentiment in the corner. The card would be great for a wedding or anniversary.
