Happy Friday night, Welcome to the weekend. Have anything special planned? Nothing special for me, just your normal weekend chores, hopefully some crafting time as well. My husbands softball team starts Sunday which means a few hours of alone time for me at home, love the man but also love some alone time!♥
Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crew challenge, you can see the sketch below.
For this card I decided to use something I haven’t used in quite some time – the “Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection, I used the card ‘Happy’ and the two little printed window sheet banners tucked under the scallop oval on the right. The card starts with a base of Pear Pizzazz (10″ x 5” folded in half) and I embossed in black the triangle stamp from Dotty Angles on the top of the card. Next, I attached the ‘Happy’ card and tied some Strawberry Slush Thick Bakers Twine around and finished off with a double bow. ‘Birthday’ is stamped from Crazy About You (great assortment of words). Flower accents are from Petite Petals using the matching punch and embellished with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accent Punch pack and a rhinestone. To balance out the bow. on the bottom right corner are three Strawberry Slush hearts die cut from one of the accents in the Mini Treat Bag thinlit dies.
Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed the card. Have a great day, Craft On!
Such a pretty card Karen! I love how you’ve used the PL card as your central image and tied in the colours to match! Such a great way to use these cards! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Craft Crew this week 🙂
